Cheesy seaweed pasta 40 minutes

Recipe with a lot of flavour that is easy to prepare in a galley or a minimalist kitchen. Wakame is great on a boat, if stored well it keeps for years. In a bind, it can replace fresh greens in a recipe.

Nutritional yeast is another boat pantry favourite, you can make dishes flavourful very quickly with it and like Wakame it has a long shelf life.

wakame2 tbspcoconut milk1/3 cuptahini2 tbspnutritional yeast2 tbspdijon mustard1 tspblack pepperTo taste

    2 portions

  • Put 2 tbsp of dried wakame in a bowl and cover with a cup of water. Let wakame re-hydrate for 5 minutes, drain.
  • In a bowl, mix 1/3 cup of coconut milk, 2 tbsp of tahini, 2 tbsp of nutritional yeast and 1 tsp of dijon mustard. Mix well.
  • Pour sauce over pasta of choice, serve with wakame and saeurkraut.
