arugula
Arugula, or rocket, is a plant grown for its leaves, which are fresh, taste and bitter. Arugula is rich in vitamin C. Arugula is good in salads, it is used both raw and cooked, though cooking it results in a muted flavor. Add this herb onto pizza, pasta, or to sandwiches. The sharp flavor of arugular pairs well with citrus, roasted beets, olives etc (ref). Its flowers, young seed pods and mature seeds are also edible.
